Rockin’ Roxy’s Dog Stop

For the neighborhood dogs, Rockin’ Roxy’s Dog Stop in Sellwood is a den-away-from-den. It’s a club for canines where they can just let their fur down and get to the business of butt sniffing, ball chasing and snoozing in the sun.

Dog owners feel comfortable leaving their pooches with Tricia and her crew, Tristan, Jessie and Michael, not just because their dogs run up to their caregivers with enthusiasm, but because the 14 or so windows that comprise the top 50% of the building let them and anyone walking or driving by see that the dogs are being attended to in a fun and loving environment. Music is played, balls are thrown, laps are run, and at least a few naps can be observed each day, as tired little doggy bodies seek out the sun or the shade, depending on their druthers, and drape themselves around the room and outside on the benches.
